Elevator dreams are usually connected to ones emotional changes in life, though it might be a bit more complicated than that. It would be easy to say that going up and down in an elevator would suggest the ups and downs in ones life. Its very possible that its a metaphor linking to your personal mood. We all go through moods in life and these dreams my depict it. Though what happens when you descend to the ground floor? Could this be a representation of the unknown, the unconscious part of the dreamer?  When the elevator is being pulled up fast could this be a sign of fast advancement financially?  What is happening in your life when the elevator gets stuck? Could this be a metaphor for being trapped, stuck or inferiority in your life?  What number did you push on the elevator would have a personal significance.  Once you start to think of all the options the dream meaning can change instantly all depending on the context of the dream, the mood and feeling you experienced.  Where did you go when you came out of the elevator? If you remembered the button or number holds significance to you as well.  What is going on sexually in your life? Could this be linked to your libido? Maybe something may be lifted up!

To truly understand this dream you would need to pay attention to what is currently going on with you at the moment. You would need look out for your moods, financial gain or loss, opportunists or spirituality.  This could be a symbol of the Kundalini,  refers to a form of primal energy (or shakti) said to be located at the base of the spine. Different spiritual traditions teach methods of “awakening” kundalini for the purpose of reaching spiritual enlightenment and a range of supernatural abilities.

Dreams of falling down the shaft might be scary but could be positive as well. It could be a sign of letting go and falling into the abyss that is currently yourself that you might be unaware of.  Elevator nightmares can come across very scary and vivid but they hold a strong message. This could be the base, the root energy that you are now connecting too.  Self examination is a must to know the true meaning. Getting to know yourself on a deeper level would help crack the code of this dream.
